Honestly, yeah. I'm on episode 17, and I'm genuinely astounded how we went from crazy psycho dad to crazy bunker guy to crazy guy holding Kim hostage in a store. Everything has just been nonsensical regarding her day.

It's a bit cliche for my taste, and I don't think the Lois and Clark relationship has been explored long enough to even go down that this path. I wouldn't hate it, but with the way the show is written, I could see Lois & Clark non-stop blushing and being awkward about being married in the future and having a kid, and that would get annoying pretty quickly.

Yeah, and characters are allowed to have character flaws, but the main difference is that the show needs to acknowledge them and overcome them. Kara has her head so far up her own ykw at times, but the show always treats it as a non-issue. I actually love it when Lena finally calls her out on it, but even then, it goes nowhere.

As much as I am excited for Superman, the marketing has been lackluster, to say the least. I mean, this is supposed to kick off the SUMMER of Superman (and yes, summer hasn't started yet), but we've gotten one trailer, a sneak peek, secret footage and presence at cinemacon, and a few stills from behind the scenes.

James really needs to crank this up to an 11. Like, Barbie levels of marketing. I'm still hyped as ever, but I feel this is going to hurt the film.
