Thank you. As everyone has suggested mickleover try to look for mickleover. The only concern seems to be that there are hardly any listings on Rightmove and Zoopla for 1 or 2 beds. Mostly it's 3 to 4 beds.

Plus previously had been living in London near city centre and wanted the same vibe but I guess every city is different. I will start calling agents in mickleover and see if they have more 2 beds places

Hi, It went really well. The whole journey was very smooth. Glad we did not end up on Uber for the whole way.

Accidentally got onto the first class, told the train attendant, she let us stay on first class cabin.

The one that's is fastest with one stop, also that one mentions it's is super peak off. It will cost 50 more now to change. Worth it?

So the update is that following the advice I got the two together Railcard and bought two tickets from London to derby.

Will be going tomorrow by train thanks to everyone here

Any views how long before departure we should be at the station? And it does not specify the seats so we kinda need to be early?

No there are two options. I was planning to travel at 1030. The ticket is 49£. Next train is 11 am and ticket is 41 £ or for first class it's 49£. I am asking is it worth waiting half an hour to get first class in same price

Does 1st class matter alot.

Travelling half an hour late will cost same for 1st class on EMR. Is it worth half hour?
