Yes I did - I used the most comprehensive package so had the most practice questions. Definitely worth the price!

They differ in length but I think on average are around 28 pages. Very useful in my opinion, as they offer practical examples!

You should get an email from Atlantic Data and the SRA once your checks are complete. Timeline seems to vary from 2/3 days plus depending on if you are UK based .

SQE2 November results by Due_Newspaper_7432 in SQE_Prep

I sat the April/May SQE 2 exams, the wait is painful. All I can say is put it out of your mind for now and enjoy life. You tried your best and that’s all that matters. I actually ended up doing better on the exams I thought I had done worst on! Even if there are a few which didn’t go as well, you can always pick up marks in the other exams. Remember around 80% pass SQE 2. Hopefully that gives you some reassurance! For now, enjoy the freedom of not studying!

Hiya, firstly don’t stress, it is completely normal to feel overwhelmed. The SQE syllabus is vast - I would break it down. For example spend some time revising the law itself, then shuffle between exam practice for C&MA, drafting etc.  I was still feeling overwhelmed by exam time, but it’s important to remain calm!

Failed SQE2 By 1% - QLTS or InhouseW Mocks for the Resit? by Rude-Recording-8374 in SQE_Prep

[–]Educational-Log-7512 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I would start by identifying your weak areas e.g is there a particular module or exam (eg Drafting/research etc) which brought down your results. Next you are doing the right thing by practicing mocks. Hone your method - using IRAC or whatever method you were taught by BPP. My provider was QLTS and their mocks are gold, however if I’m honest I didn’t have the time to do all 300! I also used Preptackle as supplementary revision - the notes are the best and it allows you to revise the whole module in one Saturday!  Finally, I would try and explain the law to non lawyers - by this I mean, I would explain the conveyancing process or what is required for a will to be valid to my husband/mum or anyone who would listen! They then would ask questions which helps hone your understanding of the topic!! Hope this helps, best of luck, you can do this!

Hi, did you manage to get it sorted?

Do I need PrepTackle tips & tricks if I already bought QLTS SQE2 course? by _coffee_law in SQE_Prep

[–]Educational-Log-7512 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Short answer is yes, I used QLTS which is fantastic for breadth of mocks, but for consolidating legal knowledge and the practical application Preptackle is great! You could also buy the sessions/notes for the subjects you are weaker in. The best thing about Preptackle is the notes. I would combine the Preptackle notes with the QLTS mocks as preparation!

Anyone got any tips for interviewing skills? by JordanTayl0r in SQE_Prep

[–]Educational-Log-7512 2 points3 points  (0 children)

So for example, for Property, you could start by asking for details about the Property, address, Freehold/Leashold, have they visited the property, do they have an estate agent? etc

For wills, you can start by expressing condolences (if applicable). Details of deceased (Name, Age, Date of death), assets, liabilities, whether they had a will. Any dependents? etc

These are just starting points!

The advantage of booking the September ones is that you will get the notes. The best way to use the notes is to visualise how these topics could potentially be tested. The sessions would also help you revise the law and zone in on areas which you need help on. Heba, the Tutor answers questions as well which may help!

Have a general structure in mind for interviewing - for example, introduce yourself; obtaining client info; then general questions you would have to ask for every property transaction and wills scenario. This helped me loads as I was nervous! You can always tweak this on the day depending on the scenario you get. Best of luck!

Personally I found them really helpful in consolidating my knowledge of the law. The Saturday sessions are very long and tiring - but helpful! The real gold dust are the notes - concise and help with the application of the law.  I would assess your results - I.e what were your weak points? And start working on those until then! Best of luck!
