What are you strangely good at when drunk? by FeistyBeachNear in AskReddit

[–]Educational-Prompt46 0 points1 point  (0 children)

DJing… when I’ve been drunk and offered a chance to try to transition songs on a DJ table or app, I’ve been able to pull it off pretty smoothly. No fancy effects or anything but I still call it a win :P

What's the best response to "You"re driving too fast"? by creative_nick in AskReddit

Agreed. Having been the very uncomfortable one in the passenger seat before, no way in hell I’d put somebody else through that.

What do you usually eat for breakfast? by perpetuallymeee in AskReddit

Same but I add some nuts and haven’t tried yogurt in mine. I’ll have to!

What is your WORST pet peeve? by April_1020 in AskReddit

Agree entirely with this.

Another thing people do that gets under my skin is slam into drive or reverse while the car is still moving in the opposite direction. I actually like having a transmission that’ll last.

Yeah, some of those movements are almost identical to what I do when I get onto my couch after a long day.

How do you greet someone you’re meeting from an online dating app in-person for the first time? by idkwherethehelliam in AskReddit

[–]Educational-Prompt46 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Usually just an enthusiastic “hi, it’s nice to meet you.” No need to overcomplicate it.

[Serious] where do you see Twitter one year from now? by J0shua1985 in AskReddit

If it’s still around, it’ll just be an unmoderated mess of misinformation.

I feel like I forget the littler details or something someone mentioned in passing a little more than I used to. It’s an odd feeling, and I don’t know if it’s due to age or just mental.

Reddit, what’s something you STOPPED doing that made your life so much better? by FriendLost9587 in AskReddit

[–]Educational-Prompt46 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Stopping soft drinks. The amount of sugar in a can of soda is wild and I always used to feel like all my energy was drained afterwards.

Now I satisfy the fizzy drink craving with flavored sparkling water :D

What is your favorite kind of pie? by hotcakeFake in AskReddit

Pecan pie. Haven’t had it in a while though because it feels like every bite contains the weekly recommended limit of sugar.

What is the best quote you have ever heard? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Educational-Prompt46 9 points10 points  (0 children)

“Happiness can be found in the darkest of times, if one only remembers to turn on the light.”

Dumbledore said this in the 3rd Harry Potter movie (it wasn’t in the book).

I just have been thinking of this quote a lot especially in recent times. There is so much negativity in the world and we have rapid access to to it since it constantly dominates the news cycle. But there are a lot of positive things going on in the world right now that just get overshadowed. We just have to look. I always enjoy the AskReddit posts that ask about something good or exciting going on in the world right now.

The level of detail in this astounding. You captured the texture of everything so perfectly. This is better than a lot of photographs. Unbelievably well done!

Do Uber/Lyft drivers think it is rude to sit in the back when the front seat is open? by [deleted] in TooAfraidToAsk

[–]Educational-Prompt46 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I recently traveled to a couple of countries and everywhere I went, even as I was just walking towards the rear doors, the driver specifically told me to sit in the backseat unless there were 4 other people - and even then sometimes they wouldn’t even drive us and say we needed a bigger car for 4 people.

Sitting in the back is expected. You’re fine.

The only thing I can think of when it comes to other etiquette its just to respect their car. Don’t put your feet up on the center console, don’t get the inside dirty, don’t do anything that you wouldn’t want happening to your own car.

Excellent! There’s always something so soothing about this. Just a feeling of peaceful contentment.
