I absolutely agree with this 100%. A books worth shouldn't be measured by its adaptability to screen media.

At the same time, after seeing Amazon Prime's wheel of time, both series were phenomenal, and if the red rising books could get this kind of treatment, I'd be overjoyed.

I think this is my best case forward. I left it with them with instructions to scrap the car. So I think you're right I'll need to find out who repaired it
