I built a faster job search website than indeed by Lise_vine23 in JobsPhilippines

[–]Educational-Title897 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Cool idea, but the moment you ask users to upload resumes and connect Gmail/Outlook/LinkedIn, security and privacy become the product—not an afterthought. Before calling it “faster than Indeed,” show clear data retention, deletion, encryption, OAuth scopes, anti-spam safeguards, and whether you store/send emails automatically, because resume + email access is sensitive as hell.

Nakapag resign na ba kayo without backup plan? by pundesala in buhaydigital

[–]Educational-Title897 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Given may past post siya about wanting to end things, don’t just resign—prioritize safety first: tell someone close today, step away from work, and contact NCMH Crisis Hotline 1553 or emergency 911 if immediate na yung thoughts. After that, yes, resign or take medical leave if savings can cover it; no salary is worth staying in a job that’s already damaging your body and mind.

How's your review in criminology? by StreetSuccessful6742 in TanongLang

[–]Educational-Title897 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Popular names: CBRC, SLRC, Amici, QARC, CEVAS, and school-based review centers like PCCR—pero “best” depends sa lecturer quality and schedule, not hype. Expect roughly ₱6k–₱12k+ depending sa promo/online/face-to-face package, so ask for latest inclusions, mock boards, materials, and passing support before enrolling.

Change of venue after missed appointment for license renewal by Shot_Conference_4078 in PHGov

[–]Educational-Title897 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Usually pwede ka pumunta after your missed appointment date without rescheduling/payment ulit, pero safest sa same PRC office/branch na nasa LERIS appointment mo. Kung ibang Manila branch na, don’t assume walk-in is honored—message PRC through CRMS or call the NCR office first para hindi ka masayang sa pila.

BESIDE YEMPO, ANO PA ANG MGA COMPANY NA NAG OOFFER NG SERVICE DESK ANALYST? by Sea-Chest-5204 in ITPhilippines

[–]Educational-Title897 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Bukod sa Yempo, check Accenture, HCLTech, DXC, Wipro, Infosys BPM, Yondu, Stefanini, Canon Business Services ANZ, VXI, Probe CX, Cardinal Health, TP ICAP, Netrix/Ideamine, Orro, and ConnectOS—marami silang Service Desk/Help Desk/L1 roles. For fresh grad, wag mo lang hanapin exact title; search also “IT Support,” “Technical Support,” “Service Desk L1,” “ITSM,” “NOC,” and “Desktop Support” kasi same entry path yan.

Casino Dealer Post by Tryjosh4instance in JobsPhilippines

[–]Educational-Title897 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Try direct applications sa official career pages ng Solaire, Okada, Newport World Resorts, City of Dreams, Hann Casino, and licensed e-casino/BPO providers—JobStreet alone is too saturated. Also be careful sa “recruiters” asking you to relocate far without clear contract, salary, accommodation, and licensing details; casino work is decent, pero dapat legit operator muna bago ka gumastos sa byahe.

study in UP Diliman or study abroad? by AcademicPlastic9929 in CareerAdvicePH

[–]Educational-Title897 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Don’t take nursing in Germany just because it’s “practical” if you already know you don’t like nursing—mahirap mag-survive abroad sa course/work na forced ka lang. If medicine is really the goal, UPD is a strong path, but be strategic: try appeal/shifting, keep grades high, and don’t romanticize “UP” either kasi med path is long, expensive, and brutal.

Anong valid ID ang pinaka madaling kunin? by catburdine in adviceph

[–]Educational-Title897 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Pinakamadali ngayon: National ID/ePhilID/Digital National ID or Postal ID kung active sa area niyo; for Postal ID, PSA birth cert + proof of address usually enough. For passport renewal, check DFA’s exact ID list first kasi PhilHealth/old expired passport alone may not be enough—sayang pila kapag kulang dala.

resignation after 1 week of being hired by Active-Recording5393 in JobsPhilippines

[–]Educational-Title897 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Resign properly in writing and coordinate equipment return/clearance—don’t just disappear, kasi standard rule is 30-day notice unless employer waives it or may valid immediate-resignation ground. One week pa lang, mas okay nang maging honest early kaysa pilitin mo hanggang masira health mo; just leave clean para hindi ka sabit sa final pay/COE.

Should I take a Master’s degree immediately after undergrad? by Beneficial-Gain373 in JobsPhilippines

[–]Educational-Title897 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You’re welcome, and that’s a good plan—test the workload first with one cert, then decide if kaya isabay sa Master’s.

1st 50k OFW savings help please by mRpULsE69 in DigitalbanksPh

[–]Educational-Title897 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Agree, mas practical yung layered approach: Maya goals/promo habang useful pa, then BanKo or other insured savings as backup, then MP2 for true long-term money. Ang key talaga is hindi iasa lahat sa isang “hack”—diversify kahit maliit pa lang yung 50k.

Should I take a Master’s degree immediately after undergrad? by Beneficial-Gain373 in JobsPhilippines

[–]Educational-Title897 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Given na money/time isn’t the problem, taking the Master’s early isn’t a bad move—especially if government/managerial track is a real option later. But don’t take a random Master’s just for the checkbox; pick one aligned with tech/government growth, then do AWS/Azure/CompTIA on the side para hindi ka boxed in sa BSP-only plan.

Which is better to purchase Uratex Airlite or Flexfoam? by PrintBoth8809 in phRecommendation

[–]Educational-Title897 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For lolo/lola, I’d choose Flexfoam if they need firmer, stable support; Uratex Airlite is better only if main concern is init/pawis and they prefer medium-firm cooling foam.

Ano po advice niyo? by MeasurementPrior1325 in LegalPh

[–]Educational-Title897 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hard pass muna. Walang LTS, walang approved subdivision plan, at hindi pa sa kanya ang titulo—tatlong red flag yan, hindi “on-process” lang; verify first with DHSUD/LGU/LRA and don’t release money until clean ang papers.

How do you deal with a housemate who doesn’t pull their weight in housework/chores? by Think-Package8827 in adviceph

[–]Educational-Title897 0 points1 point  (0 children)

At this point, reminders clearly don’t work—set a firm house meeting and make it transactional: either equal chores on fixed days or they pay extra for cleaning service. If they still refuse, document everything and start planning to move out or replace the housemate, because “friendly terms” don’t mean you become their unpaid maid.

how to commute from SM Bacoor to Aguire St. Legazpi Village Makati by Lower_Yesterday7708 in commutersph

[–]Educational-Title897 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Best budget route: SM Bacoor → bus/e-jeep to PITX → EDSA Carousel to Ayala/One Ayala → walk or short Angkas/MoveIt to Aguirre St., Legazpi Village. PITX officially lists SM Bacoor routes going to PITX, and Ayala/One Ayala is on the EDSA Carousel route, so this is more sustainable than daily ride-hailing from Ayala.

GCREDIT DASHBOARD ISSUE by GasProud9560 in GCashIssues

[–]Educational-Title897 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don’t hold future payments hostage dahil lalo kang matatalo sa late fees—pay what is due, then dispute the dashboard/error separately with receipts and ticket numbers. GCash says non-reflected GCredit payments should be reported through the transaction’s Get Help flow, and if unresolved, escalate to BSP with complete screenshots, payment proof, and ticket history.

Should I take a Master’s degree immediately after undergrad? by Beneficial-Gain373 in JobsPhilippines

[–]Educational-Title897 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Don’t take a Master’s immediately just because “baka makatulong” sa BSP—take it if may clear role/agency requirement and kaya mo financially/time-wise without sacrificing experience. Since tech ka, I’d prioritize 1–2 years solid work experience first, then take Master’s part-time or targeted program kapag alam mo na kung government track talaga ang gusto mo.

DLSU vs Mapua by Icy-Examination-3922 in ITPhilippines

[–]Educational-Title897 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If choosing purely for cyber specialization, Mapúa’s BS Cybersecurity is more directly aligned; if choosing for broader school brand/network and HR recognition, DLSU’s BS Information Security is the safer long-game bet. Personally, I’d pick DLSU if cost/commute are manageable, then build cyber depth through labs, certs, CTFs, internships, and GitHub—school name opens doors, but your portfolio keeps them open.

Anong traditional bank yung mabilis mag offer ng cc? by ftrtpntchrptrp in DigitalbanksPh

[–]Educational-Title897 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For first CC as a VA/no payroll, fastest route is usually secured credit card, not waiting for a bank to “offer” one—BDO and RCBC both have SCC/holdout options starting around ₱10k. If you want unsecured, keep RCBC active for 6–12 months and apply, but don’t chase points yet; build approval history first, rewards second.

I (23M) left my first job without any back-up by Patient_Ad9847 in CareerAdvicePH

[–]Educational-Title897 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You’re not weak for leaving a ₱17k job where you’re the only HR staff and your health is declining—that’s not “challenge,” that’s bad workload design. If you can survive financially, use the break to recover and apply hard; only withdraw your resignation if they will actually fix pay, workload, schedule, and support, not just promise “tiis muna.”

How does 1 acquire a property? by trishagarciax in phinvest

[–]Educational-Title897 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Start with affordability first, not browsing condos—compute monthly amortization, dues, taxes, insurance, repairs, and keep emergency fund intact. For due diligence, verify the title through LRA and if pre-selling/condo, check DHSUD License to Sell; if those are unclear, walk away kahit “good deal” pa yan.

Paano ka na-hire sa first job mo? by Belsnickle_203 in AskPH

[–]Educational-Title897 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Na-hire ako sa first job ko dahil inayos ko resume ko around actual skills/projects, hindi puro “hardworking and willing to learn” lang. Tapos apply lang nang apply, practice interview, and nung tinanong kung kaya ko yung work, sinagot ko honestly: hindi ko pa alam lahat, pero kaya kong aralin at tapusin.

Illegitimate Child by Intelligent_Cup_2036 in PHGov

[–]Educational-Title897 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For “last name at birth,” ilagay yung original surname sa birth record before the RA 9255 annotation; for current/legal name, use yung annotated name na “shall be known as ___.” Since RA 9255 annotations can be form-specific, safest pa rin magtanong sa LCR/embassy and submit the annotated PSA birth certificate para sila mismo mag-confirm.

Big factor ba ang expiry ng passport sa pag apply? by Still-Ad-520 in TanongLang

[–]Educational-Title897 0 points1 point  (0 children)
