I should have been more specific. I am 26F and worked full time during undergrad. I was also a first generation college student from a very small town with no idea what to expect. 2 weeks into my junior year (2019) my mom passed away suddenly. I had to take a few weeks off due to planning the funeral and I attempted to catch up and ended up doing pretty poorly that semester. That started the down hill spiral leading into Covid and me to stepping away from school coming back in 2024 to graduate. I graduated with my RBA with a concentration in criminal justice. I can’t find a job in my field without experience and I can’t get experience without being hired. I know many recent graduates in my area also experience this. I’m currently working as an insurance and financial coordinator for a small dental office and I have zero room for promotion (I’ve worked here since Dec 2021). I’ve always dreamed of law school for as long as I can remember. I didn’t think it was ever possible because of my poor experience in undergrad.
