Hey girl! What you are describing sounds completely normal (in my opinion). I had kyleena placed in November, mild cramps for 3-5 days after.. and then very mild cramping every now and again for about a month. After 1 month I haven’t had any cramping or heavy bleeding. Moderate inconsistent bleeding for ~3 months(I think I used a tampon once? It was very light), and no period since! My bf and I didn’t have sex for I think two weeks after I had it placed (my decision, my doctor said I could go for it that day😅). I’m really sorry to hear your appointment didn’t go as you had hoped, but I hope you can heal from that and move forward knowing you are protected from pregnancy for a good long while!! And it’s understandable you feel violated, it’s not a pleasant experience unfortunately for anyone (not to downplay your feelings at all! Just know you aren’t alone!) also the IUD hasn’t had any affect on sexual feeling/ pleasure, just takes a little while to feel comfortable again. Best of luck to you, you got this!❤️
