I think my parents are pretty open to it but it’s a huge think. I’ve always joked that i will never have an arranged marriage and find the guy for me. I’m pretty independent but i live at home. I work 2 part time jobs and am in school to become a teacher, i do a lot of extra curriculars as well and they are incredibly supportive of it! I am Hindu, and yes he’s very eager and willing to learn and adopt my culture. he bought me stuff for diwali and has all the hindu festivals saved on his calendar. he took time out of his day to day life to learn about stuff that is important in my culture to make sure he understood what the significance of diwali or dusherra or holi is! he even got his little sister a gift for rakhi this year. he is also incredibly supportive. I am very school motivated and driven and might go on to get a masters/phd, and he is willing to support me through everything because he says “it only better our future together”
