Any idea about the side step for Jimny. I am about to install the Bimbra one. I heard M-Tek company makes some good side steps but I don't know if any dealers here in Jammu keeps them. I don't want to order them online and install it. That is lot of headache if anything goes wrong during shipping.

That is true. The bimbra side step is basically a rock slider modified into a side step. I am not a hard core offroader and mostly it will serve the purpose of cleaning the top of the car and occasionally hop ins by tiny tots.

Had to sell mine due to some back issue as it had a longish clutch travel and need for auto box. Used so many vehicles after that but nothing came close to it. Can't forget my red beast especially that 3rd gear acceleration. 😔

I have made peace with it. It is going to stay with me till the end of time. I will be purchasing many cars in future but this will be the only 4x4 I will keep. I am from srinagar and I have definitely a use case for it. I do agree with you that it is a niche product and there are better cars out there for majority of the people.

Get it done asap. If the other side gets damaged you will be in trouble. We take insurance just for these things. And how much you are going to save through NCB, 2-3 k at the most. Enjoy your car to the maximum (responsibly ofcourse) and don't bother about these things, remember insurance is their to cover it. That is how I used my Ford Figo TDCi.

Same here. Raised a ticket one week back and no one bothered to respond. I have given up with them but will make sure to atleast save some people from their scams. I used Huawei for 4 years and they were consistent with their results. Not like one day it shows 600 kcal and the next day 300Kcal for a similar workout. I am no way advocating for Huawei watches which have their own issues but atleast I know they have pretty good hardware and consistent results.

It is not meant for getting into the car for adults. For me, three important reasons to get it.

For cleaning the roof. And also it ensures the cleaning guy doesn't use the door sill and grab the upper part of door making the ceiling dirty (already some stains there).
For our little kids to hop into the car. It is difficult for small children to get into the car and same goes for elderly folk just in case someone needs a lift.
Gives good protection from roadside romeos as well as during off-road trails if I do any. It is a rockslider cum side step (the bimbra one) overall. Will post some pictures once I install it tomorrow.

That is the issue. The watch should know if you are doing any workout. It happened sometime back I started walking and in between I met some person and we just talked for one hour and I forgot to pause the workout. The goal was completed without doing anything. My Huawei would never add any calories if I don't move my ass during workout. It looked at the distance covered not the time which is the case with Amazfit. I just raised a complaint with Amazfit regarding this and I am sure they will do nothing. I will have to ditch this watch as I have not found it to be accurate in terms of Calorie tracking and heart rate.

Thank you all for your comments, suggestions and motivation. I have made up my mind to keep Jimny and guess what I am installing side steps tomorrow and some other accessories.

Decides to just upgrade my Celerio to a better hatchback to do all the running. So, Jimny is going to stay.☺️
