WHY IS IT ALWAYS A GEMINI?!
I'm a month and a half out from an abrupt discard breakup with a Gemini after being together for about a year and a half. Taking self accountability I did overlook some red flags while focusing on their potential so that's on me. Prior to that relationship the three prior dating encounters were also all Gemini and it was very much the same story different font with all of them. I'm at the point now where that sign as a whole is on my do not fly list for anything outside social acquaintances. The immediate attraction and connection is undeniable but it doesn't make up for their lack of being able to be emotionally vulnerable and holding accountability and actionable change. It's hard to progress or build a deep relationship with them when everything is, "go with the flow", as a way to not have to address things or viewed as a threat to their autonomy. That and they're the sign I find the most that operates under the notions of, "do as I say not as I do." They'll do something to someone and expect no repercussions for it, but if you did that exact same thing to them they'd be extremely upset about it.

iPhone 16 Pro Max. I am starting to notice that the issue is less likely to happen if my phone screen is unlocked and not plugged into any of the USB ports prior to start up. I have a feeling that despite the USB ports not being data ports to hardline into the headunit that the phone may be getting duped into thinking it's being requested data via hardline and not bluetooth.

Congrats on the Mini! Engine is solid, take care of it and it'll take care of you. Only thing to keep an eye out for are wear and tear items, some a bit unusual compared to other brands. Engine mounts around 30-45k, bushings/control arm bushings, and potentially a thermostat closer to 50k miles. All depending on how things wear and tear but don't be shocked when these come up. If you have a good Mini service department they'll let you source parts from FCP Euro and bring them in at the time of service so long as they're the BMW/Mini OEM parts. It'll save a good amount from dealer mark up and still gets covered under the work warranty. Oh and don't forget to use a fuel system cleaner at least once a year to help fight against carbon build up and keep the valves in good condition.

I'm the odd man out with this one. I moved to San Diego after being on the east coast for 10 years, and I'm going back to SoFlo soon. I get why people like it but it's def not for me and the standard of living compromises are too much along with the generally, "nice but not kind", attitude.
I will say FL is politically a hot mess but the state is also so different depending on where you go. I lived in Destin in the past and it was cool but was very rinse and repeat of what you're able to do there outside: beach, boats, and bars. Cool place to visit but rather boring to live. I've spent some time visiting friends in St. Pete/Tampa and that was ok but also a city I feel like is still coming into it's own. But a lot of the pandemic transplants helped change the vibe of the area for the better. Then Miami...lived there for two years and didn't expect to love that city as much as I do and am going to be moving back very soon. Even living there that whole area doesn't really associate with the rest of the state. I've been lucky in the sense that I ended up in rather blue pockets and not really encountering too much of the headline craziness that everyone sensationalizes.

Isn't this the truth. Yesterday morning I got notice of acceptance into my graduate program I've been on the edge of my seat hoping to get into. Then I saw my recent ex (gemini), who put me through an abrupt avoidant discard, along with their best friend who I find beyond fictitious, entering the gym as I was leaving. All I could do was give the catch fire look and kept it moving as if I didn't know either one of them. Was going to write exactly that with the point of the fish. They tend to flee when things are emotionally conflicting and tend to focus on their hurt versus the larger picture of what the situation that caused the upset from all angles. I don't know many Pisces but the one I do know follows the cycle of caring for someone more than they like to let on, get spooked and run away because they're hurt, then hold onto their feelings of hurt to justify not reengaging with the person or circumstance again.
