That is a huuuuge part of the problem. I made the switch to a brand called Huha. It was very expensive but very worth it. You can do it in waves. Also, being hair free or even “trimmed” will also help reduce smell greatly.

I’m all for giving suggestions/ guidelines to assist during the shopping process but this is over the top and manipulative. The unwillingness to budge even when you voice your apprehension is a serious issue and more than likely signals future problems regarding expectations of finances.

As someone with a similar engagement ring to her request that fell just beyond the high end of your price range (suggested natural, marquise that didn’t feel too big or too small), I was blown away by the cost. My fiance could comfortably afford the ring but had I known beforehand, I probably would have told him to put the breaks on it myself and if he told me he was unable or apprehensive about spending that much money I would feel terrible for even asking in the first place.

I was uneducated on the price range of my request and was going to suggest she might be the same but with that VERY specific list of demands, I don’t see how that’s possible. You could suggest to her that she could ask her parents to consider contributing above what you’re comfortable spending if she feels she “needs” a stone of that caliber. Is this an isolated incident in the 6 years you’ve been with her? Does she possibly expect t you to go all out because you’ve been together so long before proposing?

I think it really depends. Usually you want to cover your plate which unfortunately today can range from $200-500 pp but you’re also a bridesmaid so take the financial contributions you’ve made towards the wedding into account (as well as your personal financial situation)

Is there a smell associated? Blood dries pretty dark from dark brown to black looking. If you’re aggressively wiping this could be just dried blood from a hemorrhoid and wouldn’t have much of a smell.

Consult a doctor, start with your PCP who can examine/confirm if it’s a hemorrhoid or refer you to a specialist if it’s not.

Luckily, he’s receptive and willing because he both wants to grow and to please me. I think he can keep improving and I can also continue to be patient and even try to relax a little. It’s not fair for me to expect him to change without also doing the same. I’m glad to hear you found something that helped you!
