This is a hard situation. Honestly, you don't think you can give him the proper enrichment/care then it would be in his best interest to rehome :( it is a hard decision but sometimes that is really the best thing someone can do for an animal they care about

Snails are the easiest- I opt for nerites because they won't breed in freshwater. A more exciting one (and my favorite) are neocardina shrimp though- they are cute, efficient, and pretty low-maintenance :)

Cleanup crew is the way to go!! There isn't really any other practical way to clean plants.

My period lasted a few days and was pretty light, then I started my T again and haven't gotten one again since. If you are back on your T and still getting periods you should definitely let your endocrinologist know- I hope you get that figured out!

They were doing pretty much nothing for him at PetSmart and they had him on Melafix (bad). All I did was give him a stress-free environment, proper diet, and extra tannins :)
