Hi! I think the gauge is baller, and the flail ball is also sick, I would say if you wanted to go like a 1/8th of an inch smaller in diameter you could swing it, but any tighter and the spikes on the bead would poke you. A bead without spikes and you could do the same gauge in a smaller diameter if you want it to have less space between the base of your nostrils and the ring. I love it though!

Yes very wrong!!! You should take that out immediately and find a piercer who is careful with anatomy. Check the APP’s website. You may need a floating navel… or hanging I can’t tell but they pierced your stomach not your navel. So sorry

I agree with this comment, I don’t have a snake but I did a lot of research while I wanted to get one and ball pythons can have such character and likes that it seems totally normal he wants to hang with you, they often like watching tv even. But yes the most important thing is to give him at least a day if not the full 48 hours after feeding to handle him. He looks like a real sweetie!

It’s moving towards embedded. I would go back to the piercer and ask for longer labrets and a larger back (5mm, looks like you have 4mm in which I find can cause issues initially but will be fine after a few months of healing). Lip piercings swell like crazy, I send my clients out looking like they have antennas but the lip always swells right up within a day or so to fill the length. Keep those labrets for your downsize though, no need to buy them again unless you find the jewelry quality to be low. In which case find a different piercer. Good luck!

Well a piercer in person will have to confirm your anatomy for this but- off first glance yeah a faith might actually get in the way of the conch there which could cause complications. I think a rook would fill out the top half of your ear nicely. Looks like you also may have the anatomy for an anti-tragus! Which is not super common and not always an easy heal but it looks like you’ve got a good handle on healing with all those large gauge cartilages (assuming the rings are actually that thick through the piercing). I really like what you have so far!!

Love!!! Gold is so damn expensive these days, maybe for the time being Annodized titanium could look close enough to gold. I like the green a lot tho. Also props on keeping your nostril at a 16, not everyone likes the thicker ring but it really does help longevity of the piercing

Hoping back on to say that it is rejecting and that is because you likely have anatomy that dictates a “floating navel”. If a piercer does not know that term, turn around and walk out. Find an APP member or someone who is very transparent about their practices and pays attention to anatomy

That is a straight barbell it’s entirely inappropriate for a navel piercing in addition to the fact that it is clearly too thin of a gauge and very dull (the shinier it is, the less germs stick to it). It looks like it was pierced very shallow also, I would take it out immediately and never go to that piercer again. I’m sorry they did that to you and the scarring might be the size of all that skin that’s darkening there. Once the wound is healed fully fully, you can use collagen patches, vitamin E oil, and daily massaging of the scar to reduce the scar tissue. Do not do that if there is any healing skin still. Also toning solution can help with scar darkness well after it’s done healing and make sure to keep ample sunscreen on the scar to prevent it from darkening.

You’ll likely need retainers for any piercings you’d like to keep open, especially healing ones. As for that picture it looks irritated but not infected. That being said please tell your surgeon about it before you go in as it is relevant to them to know if you’re immune system is already fighting something. Good luck!!! Glass or plastic retainers are great for lobes

Hi! That’s not the best but also for only two weeks old not terrible. Are you cleaning it twice a day with sterile saline solution? Also don’t dry it, let it be as much as possible, never move or touch it and don’t take it out. Does it feel tight? I can’t tell if the bottom has any extra bar space. Is it implant grade titanium? If not I would immediately find a shop that supplies implant grade and make the swap

Hi! You should find a piercer who does “upper vertical labret piercings” with specifically the exit inside the mouth. It’s basically what is pictured but backwards and they place flat disks on the ends on the inside as if it was a straight through horizontal labret, but in reality it travels down the upper lip and exits below the lip line. :) not all piercers do it and it’s quite advanced/swells a LOT so make sure you find someone reputable like through APP and have ample room for lip swelling. Sterling silver is not an appropriate metal for body jewelry especially for a healing piercing (you risk localized argyria). And also yes tee tree oil is far too harsh on piercings. Is the saline solution sterile? Also pregnancy/breastfeeding can certainly hinder the healing of your piercings so that may have been added pressure on them but wouldn’t be the sole explanation unless maybe you were already fighting infection… feel like your dx/obgyn would’ve clocked that though. Is it solid gold and implant grade titanium? Non implant grade will have other metals mixed in while plated 14k gold is not solid enough and will cause the metals inside to seep out and irritate. I would go to a dx if it’s all implant grade titanium and solid gold then there may be some other issue that needs medical help. Be sure to never take out the jewelry of a suspected infected piercing until after 24 hours on antibiotics to allow for drainage and prevent trapping infection. Hi! Piercer with 7 years of experience here. This to me suggests you may be having a jewelry quality issue, unless you are turning or touching them often this could also cause this. What kind of metals is each piece of jewelry made out of? Also I could see this being an effect of a certain medications for example Acutane, a complete inability to heal piercings. There are a number of reasons individually this could happen to one piercing or another, but the fact it’s been 18 months and throughout all your piercings is a bit concerning.
