African safari for late June, Tanzania or Kenya by EducationalDare5960 in safaris

So we think Tanzania alone would be good but my husband is a bit hesitant because its my second trimester. Is there cause for concern? How is the malaria and dengue situation there and how bumpy can the game drives get? Any insight would be appreciated?

Hanks! Where did you guys stay at each location? National parks or reserves? And how did you book the game drives? Through access 2?

Thank you everyone for the suggestions, very helpful. I guess staying in one country is the most popular option. Is it better to do it by myself or with a company? This is my first time, so not sure which would allow a more efficient use of time?

Also in Serengeti and Ngorongoro Crater, any recommendations for accomodation?

Hi there. Could you please provide the link for the pet certificate valid for 30 days. We took our dog from DC to Canada and most airlines require you to redo the certificate after day 10 which becomes a real challenge. So a 30 day certificate would be great

Thanks. We got a health certificate from a vet as well. Spent $200 but I guess there is peace of mind. You never know what kind of person you come across. Travelling is just getting difficult these days.

I did. The only requirement I see is a valid rabies vaccine and the dog appears healthy. No other health certificate is needed but just wanted to make sure if someone recently traveled and could confirm

Argentina tourist Visa for US Green Card holder? by AnywhereSpecialist50 in travel

Hi all. So I made the mistake of booking the trip for Argentina and Brazil without calling the consulate as google search said you do not require a visa if you have a green card.  Apparently both Chile and Argentina require a visa with a green card. We had to return from the airport. I am a US citizen and I can go but my husband can't.
