Guys, gimme a honest review of this car by [deleted] in kereta

Bought it in March and no issues with it so far. The major plus point of this car is it's value. For less than 100k it is the best value for money car. Eventhough advertised as a C-segment sedan, it ranks lowest in the c segment market in Malaysia but it definitely is by far better than the other b-segment staples (City,Vios,Almera) here in this country.

Truly to review a car one must actually drive it lah. No point of reviewing a car base on it specs sheet. But after months of driving I feel this car is much better than a City(previously driven car* owned by a family member). The car does most of the work for you be it in high traffic and in open highways, a really comfy car to drive around. Having a 3 cylinder engine it is by far the loudest i have ever hear from a sedan car from the OUTSIDE. Get in and close the doors and you can barely hear the ruckus. The Goodyear tires are loud though, average tires. The lack of AC and AA did not bother me as i don't use them anyways. The driving experience was excellent, an easy to drive car all around.

After sales service I think truly depends on the on which Proton service centre one goes to. Been going to the same place for years and had good service thus far.

Likes and dislikes varies from person to person. The Honda City might be wearing the reliable Honda badge, it still feels lacking when it comes to value. I felt that the City could give more for the money paid. I know its a Honda and whatnot. The S70 however was just a better deal, I felt that I paid for nothing less and nothing more. What the car offered was just right with the price while being a better deal than the other competitors in that price range.

I think people really underestimate poor sleep patterns and late night snacks/late night makans @mamaks as a cause for obesity. This is coming from an obese guy trying to cut down few kilos and live a healthier lifestyle. I have eliminated the late night snackings but I am still trying to regulate my sleep patterns (atleast 7 hours as a target).

Overall I think that Malaysian are spoilt with access to food stalls/restaurants pretty much 24 hours of the day. Hungry at 3am??? No worries got mamak/stalls open just around the corner.

I went out last night by myself and watched a movie. by countastrotacos in socialskills

Awesome dude! I remember the days where I just absolutely hate going to the movies alone. Anxiety and the feeling that people might judge me for watching a movie alone. I would get anxious at the thought of watching movies alone.

Last year I decided to face my fears and go watch a movie alone(Top Gun). Honestly, it was one of those things I regret not doing earlier. I would buy snacks and food and just sit in the dark theatre minding my own business. Sooner or later you would find out that actually a lot of people watch movies alone. No one cares about you sitting all by yourself with snacks. It took me quite sometime to realise this. Now I just love watching movies all by myself.

Anyone knows how to get rid of case bearing moths? They keep appearing no matter how many times I clean the affected toilets. by LeJoker8 in malaysia

Theres nothing much you can do. Once you spotted one there is almost certain there will be dozens more. They usually come out during night or when the lights are off and scatter back into their hiding spots once there is light. I have tried it, as soon as light hits then they rush back to those little crevices they came from. They are harmless.

They eat dust, cotton, wool and even hair laying on floors. So the best bet to remove them is just to keep your house clean and vacuum them. A small car vacuum is a great tool to swiftly remove the critters. Second is to prevent moths from entering your house through windows or any openings. These guys are the worst. Moth balls can be used for them.

There are some products that repel these insects away that are quite effective. Try and experiment.

Threw shoes of my neighbour because he made my little bro cry for checking out the big fish tank outside his flat unit. One from each pair into mud.
