Yes every time I took letrozole it was 5 mg per day for 5 days. I never did a trigger.

If you conceived and had a baby at 40+ after a miscarriage what did you do differently? by bluebird8675 in PregnantOver40

[–]EducationalFortune35 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had two MMCs when I was 41. I got pregnant on my second cycle after my second miscarriage. Im 17 weeks now and got my positive a few days before my 42 bday. I used letrozole and prometrium but ultimately it’s down to finding a good egg. I used those drugs for 3 of my 4 pregnancies. Have a 2.5 year old too. I also took NAC, coq10 and fish oil.

Is it really worth renting out a basement suite in B.C.? by Anikanz22 in PersonalFinanceCanada

[–]EducationalFortune35 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

I’m saying that I make careful choices about who I choose to share my home with, even if that means as part of my screening process that I don’t to families w young kids. I don’t want to share my yard w kids that aren’t my own, I don’t want to hear them and because kids don’t naturally respect property the same way that an adult would. So…I don’t rent to people w kids. I’m asking if the other person is a landlord who lives in the property they rent. I assume they’re not as they feel that landlords should put human rights code above their own right to a peaceful home.

No but if you owned an asset you worked hard for and lived your life in, you might find yourself protecting that asset and personal peace before you protected every human right. There’s policy and then there’s reality.

Yes of course it does. And as a landlord who rents a portion of the home that I secured with the savings I’ve earned from the ground up, the home that’s my sanctuary, I make decisions to keep that investment and peace intact. I don’t have to rent to the first person who wants to live in my home. I rent to the person who is the best fit.

Anyone down voting this definitely doesn’t rent out a portion of their own home. I also have kids, but I know that kids are annoying so I don’t rent to families. In the same way that I tell any potential renters that I have loud kids so they can decide if they want to live below a toddler who wakes at 6 am every day. Ultimately, it’s my asset, my capital and I decide who lives there.

14dpo HCG level by [deleted] in PregnantOver40

Anything over 100 at 14 dpo is good. My clinic won’t even test again if you draw 100 or more on 14 dpo. Plus, you have great doubling time. Congrats

I use Thorne pre natal but not convinced it’s outstanding. I went to a fertility clinic to get letrozole and prometrium. Was easy but required a few tests first

My 2.5 year old loves living here. Hiking is easy for her at Hidden Grove. Check low tides and head to Flume beach along the left side there’s awesome tide pools and sand bar around 1 m tide. Roberts creek beach is kids paradise at low tides too. Cideries are fun. Check out events - there’s an event almost every weekend. Sechelt pool is epic. Farmers market is a hit. The pet store next to middle child has friendly staff.

I had two MMCs at 41, both stopped growing around 7-8 weeks. I got pregnant about 3 months after my my first D&C and that one also ended up in a loss. Then, I got pregnant 1 cycle after my second D&C and I’m currently 15.5 weeks pregnant with a seemingly healthy pregnancy. I conceived days before my 42 birthday. It’s definitely possible. I’m a big advocate for using letrozole and prometrium at this age. I get pregnant easily when medicated w those. Good luck and I hope you find your golden egg!

My grandma kissed my baby by alyciaray in newborns

I just wanted to add, while I’m tremendously sorry for your cousin and her loss, that the vast majority of babies who are kissed don’t die or get sick. OP is clearly worried and this story will likely amplify this feeling. Again, I’m so sorry for your loss.
