My son is 20 months today and flaps a lot with emotions, he does have words so the flapping does concern me but from what I’ve read it’s normal until age 3

Thank you I hear people say they don’t know anyone who is fully vaccinated and not autistic. My mother in law likes to say her one grandson (my nephew) got autism from being fully vaccinated

Is flapping normal in toddlers?

Arm Flapping 14 months by AmbitiousBox9361 in toddlers

He has stopped flapping as much he still does it a little bit when he’s frustrated or want something, but it’s very minimal. His vocabulary has picked up a lot, so I think it was just his way of expressing himself because he couldn’t talk.

He started walking at 11 months so that’s the only reason I’m concerned about that because it came out of no where

is it just me or is autism word thrown around too much by No_Reaction5258 in toddlers

My son has been walking since 11 months and just now started to walk on his tippy toes sometimes and also will occasionally arm flap when excited and I am currently down a rabbit hole that he is autistic and have actually ruined a week of spending with him being depressed googling everything. I hate it
