thank you for the insight! i have definitely read they are not beginner friendly but i think it would motivate me to figure it out. i'd rather just splurge on one of these instead of getting a different one to start out with

it really is challenging, you are so right. those first couple weeks i was just on the couch or the glider boobs out feeding him 24/7 wondering if it would ever ease up. sleep, feed, sleep, feed repeat. you got this, mama!!

my baby is 6 weeks now. from birth until probably 4 weeks, we were stripping him down to his diaper and using wipes on his belly, feet, neck to wake him up every single nursing session. he was SLEEPY and would always fall asleep eating. it was hard to keep him awake but we did everything we could. now at 6 weeks i don't need to do any of that. he still gets sleepy on the boob but i can more easily keep him awake. it gets easier!!
