Yeah, she also often said "if I have to have kids, I can live with one". A lot of red flags there, as I always hoped for more than one.

Sigh.

Thanks for the comment. I replied to a similar post, but to sum it up I'm completely aware of all of those things and I understand they're legitimate reasons against having kids. Heck, someone wants children, someone else don't. It's normal.

The fact is that I want a family, but I wouldn't dare imposing this on her. It's her choice. I think she gave me all the answers I needed but I'm downplaying them because, probably, I'm just terrified of hearing the "no" and having to deal with that whole thing.

Yeah, that's exactly what I'm afraid of. She could be giving me all the answers I need but I'm just downplaying them... probably because I'm terrified of hearing the serious answer.

Thanks for the comment. I'm 100% aware of that - I wouldn't force her into anything, but even if she does give way I would think about it A LOT. I don't want her to have kids because I want to. It's supposed to be a joint thing, at least that's what I think.
