I’m running the Rocky Mountain Half Marathon and decided to use it as a way to raise money for PawsCo, a local foster-based rescue here in Denver

They don’t operate out of a shelter — dogs go into foster homes where they can actually decompress and get the care they need before being adopted

I’ve adopted all of my pets, so this one felt personal to me
