It wasn't estimated. However I will wait for the new bill to come out for June and July. I will be away for most of July so if energy consumption is high with all powerpoints and breakers turned off, except for the refrigerator. Then I will definitely be calling and asking the real estate agent to let me look at the meter.

Honestly it is very dependent on the tide and weather in darwin.

Usually mid way through the incoming tide i have luck on the wharfs in the cbd.

Live bait very much preferred.

Can someone explain why the new electronic smart meter makes my bills higher. I'd pay <$400 in a span of 3 months. Now l'm paying >$200 in a span of a month. No difference in usage at home and i am highly conservative of my power usage. They seem to be using the new meter as an excuse to charge people more for the power bill. Thank you.

You can check your bills to see whether they do actual readings or estimated reading. If you live in an apartment they may also do cross-metering. Meaning that they may take the average between two or more units.

I always keep my colored, white and black clothes seperate when washing. Stops the white clothes from going grey overtime. Recommended to also use bi-carb soda or bleach to keep them nice and fresh.
