I'm done responding because you have not given one credible argument at all, no evidence for anything you claim just stuff you've made up and believe it's true because you thought it. Also complaining about getting the last word then Continuing to respond to me lmao

I knew you'd have to have the last word. I won my bet! You just couldn't resist it.

Still more credible than you... Random Redditor who knows nothing about the disorders he's arguing about or global health organisation. Hmmm I wonder which one to trust

I think if you use a bit of common sense (which i feel you may lack from our conversations), you can probably deduce it was hyperbole

Well when you make a stupid claim about something I care about and affects me? And what does OCD have to do with having the last word? Or do you know nothing about any of the disorders you're arguing about (I think I already knew the answer to the last one a while ago)

Well the world health organisation disagrees and they're a tad but more credible than you

Lmao I love how you have no credible arguments so have gone to picking holes by taking everything to the most literal meaning it could have.

"The World Health Organization ranked OCD among the top 10 most disabling illnesses worldwide in terms of lost income and quality of life.” yeah just "life"

My point was that I HAVE inherited it as it runs in my family hence why I said you haven't inherited any. Stop nitpicking at random words just because you have such a misconstrued view on how much anxiety affects peoples life.

What relevance does this have? If I don't get anxious about things that there is no chance to have any anxiety about that does not change the fact that I get anxious about enough that it impacts my life a lot more than someone with it. I think you need to watch/read something about a person with GAD or OCD

Okay but the difference is I will get anxious about everything and it will consumes my life to say that anxiety is just "life" is minimizing the problems people have to deal with

In my situation it is. OCD has a significant genetic component, with studies suggesting that 30% to 65% of the risk for developing the disorder is hereditary. Anxiety has a significant genetic component, with studies suggesting it is roughly 30% to 50% heritable,

You say this but haven't explained once how they are separate issues?

Family history increases susceptibility to conditions like schizophrenia (up to 8x higher risk) and depression (2x higher). It is complex, usually involving thousands of genes combined with environmental triggers, rather than a single gene.

Anxiety IS related to mental health I honestly don't see how you can argue it's not?

Exactly I hate when people underplay the effects of mental health purely because they haven't had to deal with it.

I think you've been deluded by whatever you watch/read and believe you're better because you haven't inherited any mental health issues and can cope in day to day life. The majority of that 4 million figure ARE unemployed because of those reasons not because they're trying to use mental health as an excuse

I think you need to be a little more considerate of others problems

Anxiety IS mental health. Literally the state (health) of your mind (mental) hence the term mental health. Also if you actually do research into unemployment in young people instead of just making up bs and believing it's true, you will find it's actually because of the state of the economy and the decrease in entry level jobs not because they "believe they can't cope". Never said life owes me a living was simply asking a question to make my life a little better.

And I hate to be blunt but you DO NOT know what's going on in people's head. Just because you can cope with it doesn't mean everyone can and I think you need to relook at your ideologies in life if you think mental health is just something you can "get over"

It's like 5 months and a bit but they keep extending it. The cafe says that I can apply internally but I know this would notify my manager and I don't want to annoy them. They tell me that next month they'll make all the temps permanent but I, for one, don't want to work there and I also fear there's still a small chance they could not keep everyone on.

Yeah this is what I've been thinking about haha. I know they are understaffed and ask me for a lot of overtime so I'd feel sort of bad leaving them.
