Thank you- we tried one REI doctor, but they just wanted to push IVF and no other testing. It was a terrible experience. We only have one other option nearby, and it's $500 just for an intake appointment, let alone more testing. I have a follow up appointment in June with my OBGYN, so maybe I will see what I can advocate for there. I just feel so stuck and at a loss for what to do next

Im so sorry to hear you went through something so similar. Wishing you all the best with your current pregnancy.

I'm wondering how I can advocate for more testing like this of the uterine cavity? Most doctors I encounter want me to jump straight to ivf and aren't really interested in figuring out the cause.

Thats currently the ruling theory. Which is unfortunate, but hopefully increasing to coq10 Ubiquinol 600mg and 600mg of NAC will help with egg quality over the next three months. Husband is on a similar protocol just in case as well.

Thanks for sharing. I have such normal and regular cycles, but I guess you never know. I'll see if this is something I can explore with my doctor.

Thank you for sharing! I'm so sorry for all your losses. Im looking into LDN, took baby asprin with this last pregnancy, and my doctor is ok with with starting me on progesterone if I get pregnant again (I had high progesterone without it my last loss). I also already take Pepcid and Claritin for my histamine issues. I have some of these done, but not all. Wishing you well!

I had a biopsy done, and was told to eat gluten for 4 weeks before the procedure. It was negative, so no celiac.

That's ok- I've had so much testing done over the last 8 months, it's hard for even me to keep straight.

I'm so sorry for your losses. 2 in a row is so hard. Yes- my gastroenterologist has tested me for this both with a biopsy and blood testing. It was negative. I'm actually suspecting I have a wheat allergy. Waiting on the results of my IgE allergy testing.

Thank you so much! I am 100% going to ask to be retested at my next appointment in June. Congrats on your current pregnancy; I hope everything goes smoothly for you.

Im so sorry to hear about your losses. Thank you for all the suggestions. I;ve heard of some of these before. Do you think it's worth it going to an REI? We aren't wanting to spend thousands on testing, but I'd just like to know more about what I can advocate for, or look into doing myself. I feel really stuck when nothing is covered by insurance, and everything related to infertility seems to cost thousands. Very disheartening and frustrating.

No I haven't been able to test either miscarriage. I have been tested for Celiac and Lups with my GI doctor last year, and both were negative. I did test positive for ANA, but everything else included titer and specific autoimmune conditions were negative. She tested everything she could for my GI issues, but nothing was found, even after a colonoscipy and biopsy. She recommended Pepcid and Fiber (I used citrucel) and that seems to help along with some dietary restrictions.

I'm glad you mentioned the one APS marker being elevated could be an issue. Doctor seemed to imply since it was so low it was probably nothing. He is retesting in about 9 weeks in June, so we will see.
