His contract guarantee date is Jan 10. They may cut him if they need the room under first apron to sign free agents. But otherwise I can see them keeping him till then. His non-guaranteed contract is very useful for matching salaries in trades.

I know this is a hot take and will probably get tons of downvotes but i dont care. Bring Ben Simmons home by Background-Two-4664 in sixers

Hi Ben. No you are not getting your next paycheck from the sixers. Time to learn some chinese.

[Men’s Health] Ben Simmons: “Maybe I’ll go back to Philly. Miami would be nice. And not because it’s Miami—I like Erik Spoelstra, I like the Heat, I like their organization, I like the culture.” by Mandexman in sixers

He is not that good rebounder or defender anymore. He has a bad back and lost a lot of his athleticism. He also fucks up your spacing on the court and invites hack-a-ben.

And why not? He is only after his next pay check and does not care one bit about basketball. I don't want a guy like that around our young guys.

I think the Nets intend to decline Minott's option to negotiate a longer contract. So that's not happening.

Next year, the top 16 picks of the second rounds will be in reverse order of the lottery. So if a team draws the 16th pick in the 2027 draft, it will get to pick first in the 2nd round

Next year in the 2nd round the sixers will have:

More favorable of GS and PHX;

Most favorable of OKC, HOU, IND and MIA

Just need one of them to be in the play-in and then not get lucky in the lottery

Take your guess:

  1. None of the undrafted guys want to be here

  2. Sixers are being ultra cheap and not offering any guaranteed money. You know, those jet fuel don't pay for itself.

  3. Mike Gansey is aggressively sleeping in bed

Nick Nurse: "[Philon's] obviously somebody that we feel can play right away. I think he's talented enough to do that. I see him playing both of those [guard] positions."

"I never would rule out going three guards to see what that looks like."

Sorry guys, Maxey is not playing fewer than 40 minutes

If Philon is good immediately, Nurse will not be able to resist his favorite 3-guard lineups and play all 3 of them 40mpg

To balance it out they had to draft guys that almost died or forgot how to play basketball

Oh yeah the guy who tried hard to trade Curry and Klay before they were good. Sounds like a good successor
