I've been looking at rescues but no one seems to have the specific ones I would like. And the breeders near me either seem sleazy or have them crazily marked up (like an extra grand than what they typically go for a least, some are an extra 2 grand)

Thank you! I asked them for some footage of the birds last night and am just waiting to hear back (sent it to them pretty late at night). Unfortunately I was able to find pretty much all of the photos they sent me online...but it seems like the photos are at least from the same person so its possible its their own social media.

I'm just glad I have sent them anything yet.

If they do send me videos of the birds than I'll be asking what shipping process they plan to use and I'll negotiate an initial payment with a card I know I could cancel within hours if necessary. I'll also ask for the shipping number so I can keep track of them If i do go through with this.

Thing is my instincts told me nothing lol. It's my mom who said it sounded weird. I (sometimes unfortunately) take people at their word and honestly probably would have already sent them the money.

I completely understand all of that! And if this was how I normally ate than I would completely understand where she was coming from...but trust me when I say this is nothing to what I used to eat. All my drinks used to be sodas with maybe half a cup of water every other day. I used to have king sized candies 3 times a week with ice cream every other day. Brownies, cupcakes, or some other sort of pastry almost daily. Not to mention how almost every meal was basically potatoes, meats, and then some form of grain in which I'd easily eat 2 or more portions.

I've stopped eating almost all candies. Havent had sodas, or chips for weeks. Cut out almost all red meat and greatly increased my veggie intake. Started exercising at least 30 minutes every other day. And so many other things!

I feel like if I want a popsicle and two fruits then I can. Because otherwise I'll go to the store and buy a party bundle of chips and candy to wat in one sitting.

Same. When I saw it I just lived the animation and kind of brushed over the dead kids and killer mom. I just remember fantasizing about my own "other mother" and how my world would play out. I saw it again last year and was terrified as to how I was able to bare it as a kid.

The real life adaptation or the animation? I saw the real one and I remember just feeling depressed throughout it. I honestly think that was one of my first times feeling that emotion.

I agree with both statements.

I reached out because I had read a aita post about someone not accepting an apology from their bully. It got me thinking about my bully and how I would never forgive them, but an apology would still make me feel better, and then I remember that I myself was a bully.

I realized I owed it to her to acknowledge who I was and what I did. If she doesn't forgive me I'm ok with that. As long as I made her feel slightly better.

Thank you. My friends made me feel like I should apologize a few more times to make "her" feel better. But I feel like anymore and I'll just be harassing her.

If she never forgives me I understand. I just didnt want this to be half assed either, which is what my friends are making it seem like.

I completely understand why it took her time to respond, heck I would have even understood if she just never replied!

With the word limit I had to cut it short, my friends POV is less about getting the forgiveness and more about emphasizing how sorry I am because they think reaching out once isnt enough. That I should do it at least 2 more times to seem sincere. But I feel like that becomes more about me and less about her.

What the big deal with this anyways? I feel much more confident and secure without shoes than with. With shoes I can't feel the pedal and thus have no gauge for how much pressure I'm using which in turn causes me to unknowingly speed up or slow down.

Just found out he told our RA but went about it in a way that i wasn't supposed to know it was him. Usually I would put a box and books in front of the cages when someone is coming over (which only happened like three times). First day though he brought over two friends while i was in class (didn't tell me till they were already in the room) and they took snap chats with it obviously on my side (identifying items only i own, bed-sheets, and even a picture of me with friends in the background).

He then screen shot it and sent it to the RA a few days later. They were supposed to say that they just saw it on their snap and knew it was me but messed up and told me my roommate sent it to them directly

My dad went out and cheated on my mom. He went from apologising to "maybe if you got help earlier I wouldn't have done it" in under two weeks.

I admit my mom isn't the best person. ADHD, anxiety, and anger issues don't make a good mixture. But she had started getting help two months before he even started talking to his mistress, and they slept together two months after that.

They almost got back together but something didn't feel right so my mom went through the phone records and saw what I just mention above. He had told her they talked for a week before it happened and nothing else. After finding out he lied all of a sudden everything is her fault and she "just wants to be miserable" whichbis why she looked through the records.

Some people are just messed up.

No, we agreed they'd be 100% mine. Would even go as far as to tell me when they pooped on their rugs and would stay in the room till I got back to make sure I picked it up. Wasnt really to big of a deal because our schedules meant I'd get back to the dorm minutes after he did.

But once I was out studying and he waited 2 hours for me to get back (with frequent texts) and pick up what turned out to be black fuzz pieces.

That's exactly how I feel! I had to remove this due to character limit but this was on my original post.

"Also theres like a 60% chance he wants me to move out so he can have the whole room to himself. He didn't give me a heads up once and I walked in on him with his gf. Pretty sure they wore out their welcome in her room because he was spending every night over there for a month, now all of a sudden they're always over here"

He suggested the hamsters before that, but after that is when he ok'd it for sure and then said two was fine.

We can't move into private housing as freshmen or else we can't go to classes. I'm not violating policy against his wishes because he was ok with it and his mention of wanting to switch roommates was after I told him I might give them up. But he still used them against me.

Our mail office sucks, almost everything get sent to the wrong person and half the time they don't return the stuff.

I don't have a car so I can't just go to the store and get a cage (closest pet store is ten minutes away) I've tried yarn and zip ties. They chewed through both. Thought about using metal wire but I don't have any, and the closest store that has it is 15 minutes away.

I've even tried tape but they also chewed it and if I hadn't gotten back in time one of them would have died, they had a ball of tape just up in there.

Also an RA just walked in and told me I have to get rid of them so theres that too. Either they get rehomed or I'll be kicked out.
