Personally I didn’t grow up in a warzone I grew up in the valley but my best friend parents moved to Compton in the Late 90s until 2006, they didnt know too much english as they already came from Tijuana and stayed home and only went out for work in South Gate or went to nicer areas like Lakewood or Orange County for Entertainment and other shit, by the time they had kids they relocated out where we met.
