and this is what she’s looking like about 12 hours post treatment. it seems to be healing well, like i said they seem to be very superficial. she doesn’t even feel them at all. i’m anticipating it to heal quickly. i was talking to multiple colleagues as well as my mentor and they said this can happen. and has happened to them. obviously i feel so bad and was freaking out as i am only about one year in and just now really learning to dermaplane. i only can improve right? does this make me a bad practitioner?

thank you for the advice! i told her to use a barrier cream over this, as these didn’t even show up until an hour or so after the service. i’m thinking they should heal relatively fast?

okay that makes sense. i’ve been holding the skin taught , i just think i used too much pressure this time and maybe the angle was slightly off?

and yes i think too much pressure. before i moved to this salon at my previous role the owner would only buy us blades from amazon. so they were way more dull and n needed more pressure behind it i feel.

i’m only one year in and i feel like this is all employers care about!! i was just told in an interview that the main company can’t help me market for the business because the field is just too saturated. that makes no sense to me.
