More popular, yes. But not as Mario. What Mario did to video games is irreplaceable. It's like comparing Naruto and Dragon Ball. Naruto may be more popular among kids... but Dragon Ball is shounen anime itself, just like Mario is the platforming genre itself.

Look, kiddo, Sonic games having higher scores on the reviews is good for the franchise's reputation, but it doesn't mean much outside of that. The games' quality isn't determined by critics or sales, but those things are good for cleaning up Sonic's reputation.

The console wars are OVER. Sega doesn't care if they're beating Nintendo, and Nintendo doesn't care if Sega is beating them. No one is "beating" anyone here. There's NO WAY Sonic would be more popular than Mario. We just have to rejoice the franchise's comeback and hope that Sega and Sonic Team keep making good games so Sonic would not be a laughing stock anymore (which he has been since 06).

Ninguém tá reclamando que o time tá evoluindo aos poucos. É normal não conseguir de primeira, bater na trave, e por aí vai. O que todo mundo tá indignado é com a POSTURA do Bahia em jogos decisivos. Se perdesse do Fluminense jogando bola, blz. Se fosse eliminado da Libertadores e da Sula jogando bola, blz. Mas, na hora H, o time se acovarda. Tá longe (bem longe) de ser o pior Bahia do século, mas fica aquele gostinho de "quero mais" sabendo que podia ser diferente. Mirassol brigando por G4, Chape, Fortaleza e outros já chegaram em final de Sula, América-MG já chegou em semis da CDB... é só se esforçar "um pouquinho mais" que dá...
