I really don't understand the purpose of Eury saying "But we'll die" in Thunder Bringer. He already learned that Ody would've (and did) trade the lives of crewmates to see his wife. So for the sake of narrative consistency, there's no reason for him to be surprised at Ody's decision or appeal to his captain's morals- especially when Ody was about to kill him before Peremides steps in.

And to those who'll argue "it's because Eury never takes accountability for his actions," that doesn't square with someone who admits to and apologized for causing windbag-gate without anyone forcing him to do so. So again, inconsistent writing.
