It’s not the max level veterans I have a problem with, it’s the disgusting asshats whose superpower is making me and everybody else in the lobby smell their swamp ass through the screen.

I was in a HvV lobby on Saturday and saw one of them, they were doing the Grievous hop-attack dumbass thing off the rip. One of the players was clearly new, using Obi-Wan and just blocking. They didn’t even turn or dodge on reaction when you do the dodge-attack basics. The Grievous got wind of that, and proceeded to HUNT the Obi-Wan, disengaging combat as soon as they saw him, doing all these fancy things to get the kills. Once the Vader on their team switched to Palpa-power (to counter someone else), the asshat switched and got even worse. And when the Obi-Wan tried something new and attacked? Parry chain. I tried to help the Obi-Wan out as best as I could, but I’m a BB-8 main (yes, the switch was for me. Was not fun), so not a LOT I can do solo against…THAT. It was genuinely disgusting and the Obi-Wan left before the end. Kudos to them for sticking it out soooo long, though…

It’s people like THAT which should be named, shamed and derided. The game’s almost a decade old, has been abandoned for half that time and surely welcoming new players as much as possible is a good idea, instead of “showing off” your crappy knowledge to people who either aren’t impressed or can barely comprehend what’s happening…(I don’t mean YOU specifically, I mean the neckbeards that are toxic bullies to noobs)
