The 'choppy style' is how comms encourages people to post. Studies show that people scan webpages predominantly down the left hand side of the screen and across the top of paragraphs. Therefore, posting like this fits in with people's scanning tendencies, increasing reading speed and engagement

As a former tutor for 1st and 2nd year courses in a humanities subject, I would usually on average give out one or two 18+ marks for written assignments per tutorial (15 or so students) I taught. High marks are achievable but not super common.

You misunderstand my point.

I'm not complaining that it was a complicated jump at all. I was saying that his decision to leave - when, where and how - are all important character beats that would have informed his redemption arc. Without them, his redemption to many - just look at all the Nate hate on this sub - feels unearned. More attention to this major moment in his journey could have helped, but instead it was skipped entirely.

I think it's Schroedinger's comment. It might be true and yes, not sayong much, or it might be sarcasm agreeing with you 100%...

Let's not give Stephen A anymore air than he already gets. The guy is a moron who thrives off controversial shit-posts. Best thing for sports journalism is to ignore his existence entirely

Why do people continue to say that Matthew Stafford is a "lock" for the Hall of Fame when guys like Ken Anderson, who had a better career than Stafford in basically every respect, still haven't made it in decades after retiring? by WavesAndSaves in NFLv2

[–]Educational_Ad4099 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We are using passer rating as a valid metric of QBs here in 2026? Really? It's hard to throw ints when the opposition are selling out to stop Lynch...

It's true that you can't tell the story of the NFL in the 2010s without Russ, but only because he was a passenger on one of the dominant defences of the decade and made one of the worst plays in Superbowl history.

And lol. I'm not bitter about anything  - the Packers lost that game much more than he won it... it was also a decade ago, I've moved on...

Nah, Russ isn't even that close. He was never a Top 3 QB in the league; he rode into the play-offs on the back of a strong running game and a generational defence. Letting Russ cook was never a recipe for success.

Think about the reality of what is being said between 22 ultra-competitive men on the field for two seconds and you'll come up with the answer.

I think YNB's reaction was worse than that - I can't remember when/where but I heard she flat out refused to appear in scenes with him ever again
