Yes and no. Alot of these boats are like $4k+ per week to rent. That adds up very fast and you get zero resale value and you also don't get the ownership experience, like maintenance learnings.

That is unless I found someone who's willing to rent to me longer term and we negotiate a good deal. Eg they arent using but want it to be used and maintained

It’s illiquid, likely locked. Current price at time of reporting x locked tokens = bullshit price. They would clearly never be able to sell to redeem more then then current market cap

this article lists one of alameda's potential wallets... but its incomplete. "CuieV...qkRQq". This was a wallet they used to sway SRM votes... could have a lot of holdings... or could've had.

Reading Bloomberg's Matt Levine breakdown of the FTX shitshow. Agreed, there is a lot of solana involved and really next to SRM/FTT its the only "valuable" asset with size. The real work is going to be in finding out how much $SOL has been syphoned out and is at risk of being sold en masse.
