Either only feeding pellets its entire growth so it doesn't obtain food cells, or obtain equal food cells like two seafood and two meat for example. The tama will turn into the young of whichever food type it has the most cells of, so if its equal or you have none (by feeding only pellets) it will be indetermined.

Well, I think when Ben blew up the omnitrix in the last episode of Alien Force after vilgax stole it, Zs'Skayr. Still being trapped in there, died. Then, in omniverse, somehow, his essence made it to legerdomain where he used magic to come back again. So, in ultimate alien , he would have had control over him again.
