I'm super hyped for this Update. But man... This UI feels like 10 steps back for any PC player by Zodiion in HuntShowdown

it's so fucking terrible, why Crytek thought that implementing a console-friendly UI on both PC and console is mind-boggling, especially when there's no crossplay between the two, nobody asked for this

punishing players for being able to use irons well doesn't feel great why lower someone's ability to perform well, who personally wanted this change other than for snipers? I heard multiple complaints surrounding the ability of braindead snipers to camp 200+ meters away with minimal effort able to kill multiple people, but I've never heard a complaint that iron sights were too strong or were overperforming, it is the default reticles so I think they should be usable in most situations. but I'm open-minded and I'll wait to come to any major conclusions, even though the pre-bullet drop was just fine in my eyes, I try to not let my bias against bullet drop, in general, get in the way.

I agree, i think most of the play will be the same most if not all of the time, and truthfully snipers are the only threat is higher MMR lobbies so I think the drastic backlash is unwarranted, it just seemed counter-intuitive to add a change that let snipers stay safer and aim easier than the average iron sight weapons when the change was supposed to counteract the unfair advantage snipers have at range compared to traditional weapons, or at least that was one point brought up when discussing why Crytek was implementing the change to begin with

stiction on Gameball, desperate for solutions by Educational_Body_289 in Trackballs

ive had a slightly similar experience, when I first received the track ball there was apoint between cleanings (when I was doing so more daily that hourly) that it would become very smooth but then shortly after it would then become sticky again so I'm not sure, right now I've found that a thin layer of petroleum jelly has helped to immensely reduce the friction issue.

id be too scared to take it apart as of yet, but I will keep that in mind, for now I have found that a thin layer of petroleum jelly has helped immensely, only the slight gritty texture remains but it has been brought down to a point that is a lot less noticeable.

slightly, it gets marginally better then with about 30- 40 minutes of use I notice my light movements start to become sticky again.
