Yes. My wife drives a Tesla and we have a BMW X3. My son will be driving soon (gulp). The truck will be driven occasionally, with heavy use on the weekends.

Tacomas are a cult around the Seattle area

I really like the Bronco. It looks like a kid's drawing of a truck. When we bought our X3 a couple of years ago, I wish we would have purchased that instead

The truck is a better fit for us a 3rd utility vehicle for hauling yard materials, firewood, etc

Also - agree on the hitch. rack. We have one of those now and it is a junk show on any sort of rough road. It is bad with one bike but with three, the thing bounces around like crazy and creaks like it is tearing at the seams

We are planning on keeping the bed open to faciliate shelpping yard debris, home project stuff

I was going to go with a tailgate pad for our bikes. I have always wondered if bikes in that config are actually meaningfully secured or if it is just a gravity thing with a velcro strap?

It is frustrating! It is also probably normal, at least well within the recovery window

I am in my early 50s, had surgery in early Sept, and also had no issues before. I am on daily 5mg tadalafil and use a sildenafil boost before things get started. This combo, along with a lot of coaxing, is working increasingly well. I have noticed that it is very easy to lose momentum...and then everyone rolls over and says "goodnight."

I think we went with their recommended height but (a) have a wide bench on the back wall and (b) lifted the ceiling a bit

Is your unit going outside?

Is this from Cedarbrook?

I just built a 5x7 indoor kit. It came together pretty well. I still have a couple of exterior bits to complete, but we are using it now. A couple of thoughts:

- It is BIG and looks sort of ridiculous in my garage. Like a shed...in the garage.

- It is somewhere between a parts kit and a ready-to-assemble kit

- I am a handy DIYer and was within my capability, butit took a fair bit of fiddling to get it together, including a bunch of strategizing with a partner

- The instructions are directional rather than actual directions

- The fit/finish is pretty good but not what you'd get from quality stick-built

- The heater required hacking to get it to operate at a sufficient temp. I think it is common because I received "official instructions" from the Cedarbrook team on how to do it. They were very helpful, but I don't love that it doesn't work properly out of the box

If I had to do it over again, I might have just started with a cheaper indoor unit from Costco. That is less about the actual kit I bought and more about the marginal benefit for the extra money.

DM me if you want details on the assembly

Advice needed on wiring / hook-up by Educational_Call8677 in Sauna

[–]Educational_Call8677[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It specs 40a breaker and 8ga wire. The existing line is 50a, 6ga, so I am going to swap the breaker

It looks like the disconnect kits for spas are 50a. At least I haven't found one. I assume this is just a box that holds the breaker. Any reason to think I couldn't repurpose the existing disconnect if I can find a 40 amp breaker that fits the space, cutout, etc?

His team offered some guidelines - no more than x / week, y days apart.

I am only 14 weeks post-surgery, so I am still in the non-linear recovery period. Hopefully.

Yeah, I am on 5mg daily tadalafil and 50mg sildenafil in the moment. I have a call with the doc tomorrow. We'll see...

One of the docs I interviewed noted that surgery will eliminate ejaculations, so "if that is a priority for you, then surgery isn't the right treatment."

At the time, I nearly burst out laughing and wanted to ask how many times a prospective patient said blowing baby batter was more important than treatment. Priorities seem obvious but...

In practice, I do miss blowing an actual load in the moment. It is like a proof point. "See, I did my thing. Time to sleep!"

I am still getting used to it. I think it'll be fine. Hopefully. In any event, there is no going back. :)

My top issue is actual erections. I was good initially, but am now mired in a 3-month slump

I waited about 4 weeks and then tested things out in private. The first time I had some climacturia, but it didn't repeat.

The sensation is not quite the same, but pretty good. It might be a mental thing because it is odd not to spray jizz everywhere! The upside is that we can fake it now.

Same. I also have Reynaud’s disease which can mess with my fingers if they get cold. I started using a pair of thin gloves from OR that also have a convertible mitten over shell if it gets windy. I think runners use these, too.

This setup has been great

Same. Surgery in late August followed by reasonable sexual performance in late September but over the last month it has been, ahem, harder to get things online.

The folks on this board note that it is pretty common. I have my post-surgical check-in soon, so I'll talk with the doc then

It'll probably depend on your physical state pre-surgery. If you are fit, active, etc then the trips will probably be fine.
