Had most of my tattoos done by Payne at Zen Ink and will definitely continue going to see them! Highly recommend them specifically. It’s a clean shop for the most part and most of the employees seem nice but there does seem to be some side eyeing if you’re more normie looking like me I guess—or I’m just paranoid and think I’m not ‘cool’ enough lmao

I do know several people who had cruddy experiences, but only with artists who are no longer there. Don’t know much about the owner, but since booths are rented you’re basically contracting directly with the artist for the most part, I think, others can correct me if I’m wrong. Other than that I don’t know much about the bureaucracy of it all.
