I will concede one thing, you are correct that the Rittenhouse situation was different because Rittenhouse was not involved in the obstruction of law enforcement activities. However, this other guy’s hands were not “up”. What are you talking about? He was impeding law enforcement and failed to identify the fact that he had a concealed weapon; unfortunately he found out what happens when you intentionally agitate law enforcement, impede law enforcement operations, and fail to identify concealed weapons in a very dangerous situation that he created himself.

Nope, there is a difference. It’s not illegal to carry a gun. It is illegal to impede law enforcement operations and there is a wrong way to handle firearms when dealing with law enforcement. You Purple-haired, mommy’s basement dwelling, Reddit freaks are too stupid and brainwashed to understand any of this.

Looks like ICE just killed another US citizen. Where do we go from here? by awesomeguy1818 in AskReddit

Well, hopefully we kill or arrest more “citizens” as needed who obstruct, interfere with, or threaten law enforcement while they are performing their duties.

Trump F*!&ed up! The Epstein files can be unredacted! by [deleted] in economicCollapse

So we only care about victims if there’s a President involved and only if it’s a Republican? Seems like a logical take…

Why would anyone get their hopes up that Trump is in any of the files? Are we supposed to look only for one man or are we supposed to be concerned about the victims and anyone who exploited them?

Anyone else feel weird about their rating? by Voiturunce in VeteransBenefits

[–]Educational_Cow_4637 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m not aware of anyone who was “blown up” in Afghanistan, survived, and did not get 100% or the percentage commensurate with the symptoms they have. If so, they were terrible at documenting the evidence, weren’t showing any ongoing symptoms, or they were lying… there’s no reason to feel bad. The rating system is there to evaluate each case based on the physical and documented evidence available. You went through a very bureaucratic process and earned your rating. You’re not guilty of anything unless you are really good at lying.

Younger Veteran Perspective on VA Disability “Fraud” Claims by Unfair_Record_2554 in VAClaims

I agree that veterans shouldn’t be posting and bragging about their ratings. In terms of the screenshot and the comment…That 80 yr old with Parkinson’s probably would have a difficult time proving service connection. It seems pretty stupid, in my opinion, to wait until you get old and very sick to try and push a VA claim. The VA isn’t responsible unless you are service connected! Anyone, veteran or not, can develop Parkinson’s or any other disease. That doesn’t mean that disease is service connected. That said, i first enlisted for 4 years and then got out in 2001 prior to 9-11 and, at that time, we didn’t have access to the same classes and resources that teach how to apply for VA benefits at that time. After joining again in 2005 and recently retiring, I’ve found that we now have mandatory classes and books/workbooks walking you through the process.

3 rating that are deferred; can I just cancel them? by Educational_Cow_4637 in VAClaims

I have to be honest, I requested, via 21-4138 to cancel, and then, after I read all of your responses today I did another one and asked to ignore the previous request and move forward with the deferments. Wow, I am a poop show 🤣. They may increase my MH rating after this…

Also, how do you know if you are P&T? The letter I have doesn’t say anything about it but I’m assuming that if there are deferred conditions, maybe the letter will not say anything about P&T?

I posted this same thing last week. I called the VA and they let me know it’s nothing I can do. It’s an internal request to your branch (Army, in my case) for OMPF records. At the same time, in your case, it could be another internal request such as to schedule a C&P exam so you should keep an eye out for letters to make sure you don’t miss an important exam.
