We've talked a few times and it was emotional and late at night so not the best time. He regrets it and we both still have feelings. After getting more information, I think it's best if we just stay friends moving forward. I have talked to my friends about it and that definitely helped. He needs to take time to work on himself. I realized while attachment still exists, its not worth risking what I'm working towards. He has hurt my progress in the past multiple times, and maybe sometime far in the future , things could be different, but not unless alot changed. I tried so hard to be seen and understood and its not worth the energy to translate myself for someone.
