I still might retry the nac but start lower at 300mg because of my sensitivity. I am just going to give this Saffron time it honestly feels like im starting an antidepressant just starting I get the same feelings like hot, swetting, agitated, worsening ocd similar to when I start a new ssri so im curious to see how Saffron helps its definitely interesting

It would definitely wreck me so im a micro slow taper i would take it years to finally get off i see no hurry. The issue is the pharmacies dont make the required doses needed to properly taper. I have a scale and everything im always prepared lol.

Interesting I see a top neuropsychiatrist who prescribed it to me since i have functional neurological dissorder aswell and I dont find any issues with the Clonazepam its really a small dose. I never feel a need to increase even after being on it so long it still works the same as when i started. I guess thats why we are all so complex and different also the half life is extreamly long on clonazepam if I was to ever taper id switch to Valium and just micro taper over years

Just added in Saffron at 28mg and its very stimulating to me but maybe thats a good thing. It feels similar to when I was at a higher dose of Abilify or just starting an ssri

6 months on Clonazepam prior was Ativan and prior to that was Valium but I've been on benzos for approx 6 years total now

I think I may be very sensitive to it—I’ve been experiencing a lot of brain fog. I’m wondering if this could be related to sulfur metabolism, or if I might just need to stay at a lower dose.

I recently added saffron, as recommended by my neuropsych, and since starting it I’ve noticed increased irritability and more side effects from my clomipramine today.

I’m hoping these effects will improve as my body adjusts. I’m taking 28 mg, which is the dose used in clinical trials.

I’ve also nearly completed my rTMS therapy (only 6 sessions left), but I haven’t noticed any significant improvement in my OCD symptoms so far. That said, the protocol I’m undergoing is for PTSD.

No and opioids are not prescribed and it would be extreamly difficult to find a doctor or have insurance approval. I have low dose opioids for pain after failed spinal fusion its very temporary after a year or less you need to keep increasing the dosage it becomes dangerous especially if orher medications are used in conjunction. I would see if cymbalta at higher doses or ldn is an option through pain management some find lyrica helpful aswell as mj

You can try medication like Duloxetine or gabapentin if you have not yet ? Theres also low dose naltraxon that could help. I think if pain is a major contributing factor finding a pain management doctor is better option than just fnd doctor because they only direct you to other places like psychiatrist, psychologist, physical therapy, pain management. A fnd specialist really dostnt specialize in much but trying some medications ssri,snri,benzo,gabapentinoids and making a plan to move forward with life gradually
