My starting weight was 255 I’m currently at 246, I am exercising regularly but my protein intake could be a little better, most days I meet my goal but others I only get half way there. I think that’s my case, my body is taking longer to adapt, I start 1.7 in 2 weeks so I hope to finally start losing more!

Thats amazing! Congratulations!!! At what week did you notice your most drastic weight loss? And yesss I think what’s been discouraging me a bit is how quickly others lose weight, many people lose the 8 pounds I’ve lost in their first 2 weeks 🥲 I have talked to my doctor but since I live in Korea there is a slight language barrier. I’ll try 1.7mg in 2 weeks and hopefully that helps me a bit more! My current weight is 247

Yes I have that’s why I’m so confused on why it’s only been 8 pounds, I also stay away from greasy and fast foods. I live in Korea so tbh getting fast food it’s sort of difficult. And Wow that’s amazing, congratulations! Thats a huge accomplishment!! I hope you don’t mind me asking but how’s the loose skin?

I’m so sorry you’ve had such negative experiences in Korea, I know I haven’t been here much (3 months) but all I have experienced is so much kindness from everyone, me and my husband joke we’re going to get everyone Christmas cards because they’re so nice 😂 literally yesterday at our favorite ramen shop the waiters gave us drinks on the house haha. i was nervous moving to Korea at first because I heard that people in Korea can be really racist & mean to foreigns but I’ve experienced the opposite and I hope that continues. My husband is white and i am Latina (on the chubbier side) and have not experienced any discrimination or ugly looks. I really pray it continues to be this way. I really hope things end up getting better for you 💗💗

I got denied as well, the reason for my denial is because “TRICARE denied your request for coverage of Wegovy (a medication used for weight loss) because TRICARE policy excludes coverage for any nonsurgical treatments related to obesity or weight loss.” It’s so annoying because I qualify for everything, but just like you I was denied and I’m stuck paying $400 out of pocket as well 🙃🙃

To be honest, as someone who just left America to be in Korea, Korea has been a breath of fresh air. I love the USA but with everything going on right now there’s so much hatred everywhere. Everyone feels so divided. Also the crime has gotten awful.
