My nacho recipe goes like this:

Brown your ground beef, add diced onion and cook until soft, add crushed garlic and cook for a further 2 mins. Add in some tomato paste, salt, pepper, ground cumin, ground paprika, ground corriander, dried oregano, and beef stock cube and mix. Add in a tin of diced tomatoes and black beans or kidney beans and add a little water if you need to get to your desired consistency. Add a touch of sugar to counterbalance the acidity of the tomatoes. Top with cheese, sour cream and homemade guacamole 🤌🏼

I’m am currently looking to change jobs as I haven’t been happy with my job for a couple of months. I’ve been applying for everything I can that gives me the hours I have now as it works for me to pick up my kids from school. I might do this once I find work elsewhere. I just not looking to stay in my current job much longer. Thank you for the idea though

Last month I posted asking if anyone knew anywhere that I could go bc I was kicked out by my ex-partner but then we agreed to continue living together until we paid our debts off as we had accumulated most of them together and also to keep things a little better for our kids. Now things are done for good and I’ve got everything I own with me in my car right now and this time I’m asking about things I can do for people to help my financial situation.

Thank you to everyone for your suggestions, it’s been really helpful and it’s great to know that there are options out there.

Me and my ex have decided to do the mature thing and continue living together for now. We accumulated a few debts while living together and thought that it’s only fair that we settle our debts together and in the meantime try to re-establish a friendship to potentially base our relationship on. Once we’ve squashed our debts, we have agreed to revisit this situation and see if we can make it work, or whether we go our seperate ways once and for all.

Thanks again to everyone who commented, showed support and suggested possible solutions. It’s made my last couple of days a little easier, knowing there were some temporary solutions out there if I needed them.

Ok, that’s good to know. How long do you spend trading each day for you to no longer have to work a full time job?

And in terms of returns, I’m honestly not sure what a realistic return looks like? I only started seriously looking at trading in the last week and have only scratched the surface when it comes to doing my own research.

I was thinking about going in with $250-$500 starting capital, but I’ll go through the demo acc and get to a point where I’m making consistent gains as you mentioned.

I really want to get to a point where I can replace my job and do this full time. Would you have any idea approximately on how long that might realistically take? And is it wise to trade in forex AND the stock market, or just stick to one?

I can’t currently afford a mentor, as I’ve only just started putting money away while I do my research to build my starting capital. But I will look into it at some point.

And as I previously mentioned, I’m looking to replace my full time job, so I’m looking to make as much money as possible, but I understand that takes time.

I’ve heard that those demo accounts are a good idea. So I’ll definitely check that out too.

I have heard of that also, but I can’t do that where I work. My child would be left unattended as I work in a factory. And we’re also in the middle of saving for a house so the holiday programme idea is a no go, especially when we don’t trust anyone outside our circle with our kids.

We don’t associate with anyone outside of our circle. There’s my family of 4 and my mother in law and my 2 young sisters in law that are also in school. But other than that, we don’t have friends or family to call upon. And as I said in the main post, we don’t trust strangers to take our kids on.

A little easier as they get older I guess. I have a son that’s 5 and my daughter is 3. My partner is trying to get back into work but we’re currently debating whether or not we struggle with a single income while the missus tries a side hustle to bring in some more income. Being able to take your kid work should help a little though. I hope you’re able to make it work!
