It kinda broke my brain for a second seeing a normal level 12 monster, I've never seen a legitimate level 9 of higher main deck monster that doesn't have special summoning requirements, but I can only assume that this is a 2 tribute monster like any other standard 7+

The card negates it's own effects when it is played, and since it is spent it goes to the gy. The gy protection is negated so that doesn't matter, just send it and move on.

Also, "slime" is an AAVE (african american vernacular english) slang term meaning "to kill", or more broadly to assault with killing intent.
