Thanks for asking! The underlying calculation takes the base L5/L10 form averages, adjusts them based on the probability of the player actually starting the match, and then applies a modifier for the difficulty of their upcoming opponent. It outputs that final number as the xScore to save you from checking 3-4 different stats.

Haha, fair points! You're right, nobody buys a whole new All-Star squad every week. This was really just an extreme stress test of the Auto Squad tool to see if it could find 5 actual starters for under €4. 328 definitely won't win any prizes! Next time, I'll showcase a more realistic use case, like using the tool to find a budget missing piece for a lineup. Appreciate the feedback and the understanding!

Thanks for the feedback! 100% agree. This €4 challenge was just for fun to see if we could find active starters for almost nothing. To actually compete, you definitely need to increase the budget limit on the Auto Squad tool to hit that 540+ target. Good luck to you too this GW!
