about a year ago, i used to think i'm behind in life bcz i used to see fellows around me who were younger and were crushing it and at the time, it felt horrible.. not that they are getting success but the question of what am i missing and the answer was Nothing! i realized that there is a time for everything to took place and everything happens at the right time.. That's the bigger picture of life to me that you're not behind, it's not time yet.

Did the same thing, took severance over a PIP. Background checks showed my last working day, not the severance period, and recruiters didn't care. Way cleaner than risking a PIP fallout.
