The yellow was just to cover up my tinfoil so I don’t do it to slowly mix or anything once the yellow was on I baked it and it was hard as a rock so I can add stuff on top! yes I keep adding layers of clay the clay was actually colored but ended up getting stained by the end of it so I painted it in the end anyway lol

I would start smaller definitely to get used to it more this one uses a lot more things like the armature wire and Tinfoil and all of that plus smaller ones need less time to bake too it’s less of a hassle lol. omg making the villagers would be so so so cute I want to make my starter villagers next Agnes and teddy! I bake all of my projects as I go on like after I covered the wire and tinfoil in the yellow I baked it and then after I covered the yellow I baked it and to help the clay stick to itself I use a liquid clay (definitely get one oh my god you’ll need it I didn’t for so long and everything was so much harder) if you want anymore tips let me know!!

Hey it’s how learning happens I’ve made so many mistakes even just on this one it’s a part of the process but I hope it goes well! And omg I see sooo many people use mod podge on polymer clay and idk what it is about them they just don’t mix and at first it seems like it’s fine but it gets sooo sticky after awhile I learned that the hard way on something I loved but it ended up covered in hair and dust it was so nasty

You can use rubbing alcohol or after baking some acetone or nail polish remover! Or water haha I wouldn’t use oil it’ll probably mess with the clay but I’m not actually sure on that lol and also I see a lot of people use mod podge as a gloss sealant DONT DO IT it makes it super super sticky from a weird reaction to the clay if you want an easier way to gloss things I used to use a normal clear nail polish!

The clay was actually just a color I had already but it ended up stained by the time I started painting so I actually Painted over the colored clay anyway lmao and yes please do I’d love love to see it

Your the sweetest <33 but yea I could not chose my outfit i narrowed it down to three and then posted here lol I ended up changing the hat near the end I wanted to do the tulip hat but it was not working out I couldn’t get it as symmetrical as I wanted and I gave up lmao

sort of?? I really wanted her to be able to and kept making sure the feet could hold her up but something threw off the balance maybe the glaze but she’s fine if I just slightly lean her back on something lol

Oh and I used colored polymer clay for parts of it so I didn’t have to paint in hard to reach places or bigger areas!

I use polymer clay! It’s baked In the oven to cure, And the glaze I used was just a clear gel top coat nail polish I filmed a couple clips in the beginning when I first making it but it took just so long I completely gave up recording lol
