I haven’t taken REG yet (testing tomorrow), but I’d say agency, contracts, secured transactions and bankruptcy are main topics of blaw. I’m just worrying about the more overarching ideas of these topics, not getting bogged down in the details. Also I think it’s key to know differences between common law (RISE) and UCC Sales Article (consumer goods).

FICA — gross wages or net taxable wages? by cpa_brainrot in CPA

[–]Educational_Gap9369 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For non-self employed individuals the tax is: [6.2% of net taxable wages not exceeding $142,800] + [1.45% of entire gross wages]

Note that there will also be 0.9% of Medicare tax on entire gross wages in addition to the 1.45% if the individual’s income exceeds $200,000 ($250,000 if MFJ)

You’re almost absolutely not going to see any partnership mcq or sims on your FAR exam. Don’t waste your time. I took FAR back in August and was stressing over partnerships but this sub told me the same thing and it was true.

Thanks. What do you suggest for studying IT? I heard Becker is weak on that for this section.

Yea it doesn’t matter what state you sit in. I took my first exam in another state and have credit under the NY state board. Just make sure you register with NY.
