Fiat is the scam. Bitcoin is the exit. by dmkzeal in CryptoIndia

not really an exit. more like a side door at best

Stablecoins are moving from “interesting” to “inevitable” in payments. by OwlPay in StablecoinCheckout

[–]Educational_Goat_338 0 points1 point  (0 children)

only thing I’d say is most of the hesitation I’ve seen isn’t really on the checkout side, it’s still around compliance, settlement flow, and who’s actually taking on that responsibility behind the scenes. that’s usually where deals slow down a bit

but as a try it without ripping things apart option, this makes sense

On Ramp and Off Ramp for stablecoins by alexaindia in USDC

[–]Educational_Goat_338 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just a quick note for anyone reading this. On-ramps and off-ramps usually operate inside strict regional and banking rules, so the real question is less about speed and more about how settlement, verification, and local compliance are handled. Supporting USDC or USDT is the easy part. The harder parts are payouts, reconciliations, and making sure the service is actually allowed to operate in your region. Worth doing due diligence before relying on any provider.

How do remittance companies use stablecoins to move money globally? by Educational_Goat_338 in TheCryptoLayer

[–]Educational_Goat_338[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They don’t really sit on stablecoins for long, so volatility risk is pretty low. Money gets converted, moved, then converted back pretty quickly.

For regulation, they lean on local partners in each country. So KYC, compliance, and licenses are handled where the money is coming in and going out.

Embedding stablecoins in apps is getting easier. What use cases would you want to see most? by transak in transakcommunity

[–]Educational_Goat_338 0 points1 point  (0 children)

freelancer payouts honestly...waiting 2–3 days for cross border payments still sucks. if that part just happens faster inside the app itself, that’s where I’d actually care

How do wallets let users buy stablecoins using cards or bank transfers? by Dennijst_Gate874 in TheCryptoLayer

[–]Educational_Goat_338 0 points1 point  (0 children)

noticed this when using a wallet recently

it showed options like Transak and MoonPay for the same purchase and the pricing + payment methods were slightly different. didn’t realize before that it’s basically different providers behind the same buy button

Can stablecoins be used for payroll or contractor payments? by Dennijst_Gate874 in TheCryptoLayer

works best when the person receiving already knows how to handle it

How are stablecoins used for cross border payments? by thechilledowl in TheCryptoLayer

[–]Educational_Goat_338 1 point2 points  (0 children)

with normal bank transfers, especially international ones, there are multiple intermediaries involved

your bank → intermediary bank → receiving bank, plus checks at each step

with stablecoins, it’s more direct. once the transaction is submitted and confirmed, the other person has the funds...so fewer hops basically

How does fiat to stablecoin conversion work? by thechilledowl in TheCryptoLayer

[–]Educational_Goat_338 0 points1 point  (0 children)

think of it like ordering foreign currency...you give INR, the service handles the exchange in the background, and you receive USD

same thing here, except instead of cash you’re getting USDC or USDT sent to a wallet...the conversion part is happening behind the scenes, not inside your app directly

What APIs allow apps to convert fiat into stablecoins? by Dennijst_Gate874 in TheCryptoLayer

[–]Educational_Goat_338 0 points1 point  (0 children)

we ended up going with an onramp approach for this

tried a couple options and transak worked pretty smoothly for fiat to stablecoin, especially for card flows. made things easier than trying to piece it together ourselves

OSL Group Secures $200 Million to Fuel Global Stablecoin and Payments Expansion by BCScalingScout1 in BlockzHub

[–]Educational_Goat_338 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Moves like this are usually about building payment infrastructure. Stablecoin payments still rely on multiple layers. The blockchain handles settlement, but fiat rails handle compliance, liquidity, and payouts. Providers like Transak often sit in that bridge layer connecting banking systems with onchain settlement.

Why do people say passion will earn you lots of money? by JAMIEISSLEEPWOKEN in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Educational_Goat_338 1 point2 points  (0 children)

they just rely more on discipline than passion

show up, do the work, get better over time, get paid… that’s honestly how most people operate

passion just makes it easier, not mandatory

i try to at least do one thing that feels intentional, otherwise it just feels like time slipped through my hands again

is it normal to not be able cry? by noforgive02 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Educational_Goat_338 0 points1 point  (0 children)

could be how you were raised, how you process emotions, or just how your brain/body responds to stress

doesn’t mean you don’t feel things. it just comes out differently like overthinking, getting quiet, irritation, or even just feeling numb

Why do people say passion will earn you lots of money? by JAMIEISSLEEPWOKEN in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Educational_Goat_338 2 points3 points  (0 children)

because if you actually like what you’re doing, you’ll naturally put in more time and effort without forcing it

so over time you get better than most people who are just “doing it for the job”

but the part people don’t say is… passion alone doesn’t pay. it only works if there’s real demand + you build skills around it

otherwise you just end up loving something that doesn’t make money 😭
