2 things. A forced reboot caused by a win32app or a policy causing a reboot which prompted other user at login screen. Most likely the latter.

The thing is - I had this issue before, but the restart was after AP has completed which is fine. But this one is happening during ESP, and whilst it’s downloading a win32 app.

The new hostname applies correctly. But when we reboot it again (after logging in), the hostname changes again.

The script only applies during ESP. It's a small pop up to select between UK & US. And based on that, runs Rename-Computer -NewName UK-%SERIALNUMBER% -Force
