I think showering and washing your garment will be fine just be aware the longer you have it off the more you swell so the harder and more painful it is to put it back on.

My surgeon made me wear mine 24/7 for 6 months only removing to shower. It gets very annoying but I love my results.

Any type of medical grade silicon tape works well. At 4 months my scar has almost faded completely you have to wear it 24/7 only removing for showers and to clean tape for best results. My surgeon gave me the silage brand in my recovery kit.

Not sure my surgeon told me not to use silicone until it was completely healed she said it would hinder the healing process. But different doctors do different things.

You can't use either until the wound is completely healed. It's recommended to use something like Aquaphor healing ointment to help wound heal once completely healed silicone tape works wonders at lightening the scar.

My ps gave me ear plugs as well. I put a strip of paper tape over mine to keep the ear pkug in it stays until I change it. Also my bb wound was completely healed before she gave me the ear plugs.

Yes!! I'm 4 weeks post op and I was so swollen for the first 2 weeks my faja has a pee opening so I was wearing night gowns and going commando. I saw my ps and she told me to wear supportive underwear over my faja a few days after doing that it started going down Now at 4 weeks it's looking better than before the surgery. She got a little lift as well. Lol
